PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — Road improvement work continues this week on a section of Central Avenue in Wayne and Haledon, said Passaic County officials.

Construction crews milled Central Avenue from Minns Avenue to West Broadway last week, and pavement preparation and paving operations are expected to continue through the week of July 3. Officials expect the paving project to be finished on Saturday, July 8.

"Alternating traffic will be established for the duration of the work," the county said. "All travelers in this area must remain alert to construction equipment and watch carefully for the safety of construction workers."
