Part Of Ratzer Rd. In Wayne Closing Several Months For Bridge Replacement

WAYNE, NJ — Officials will close part of Ratzer Road in Wayne for several months to replace a bridge, according to the township.

The bridge is located near 194 Ratzer Rd. by Black Oak Ridge Road. Closures will begin at about 8 a.m. Monday.

Officials will fully close that section of the roadway for about six weeks. Then the eastbound lane will open, and a detour for westbound traffic will remain in place until the project's completion.

Ratzer Road residents and those who live in adjacent neighborhoods will still be able to access their homes during the clsoure. All homes and side streets will remain accessible from both sides of the closure at all times, the township says.
