WAYNE, NJ — High water on Wayne Township roads has receded somewhat, allowing for State Route 46 to reopen eastbound after the recent flooding. However, a number of roads remain flooded in Wayne, as of Thursday at 9:30 a.m.

There is still a flood warning in effect for parts of Passaic County, as the Passaic River is still over the flood stage at monitoring stations for Pine Brook, Signac, and Little Falls.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation confirmed on Thursday morning that Route 46 eastbound, west of Willowbrook Mall, is back open. Wayne Township Police have been updating this traffic map all week with flooding closures, and the map still shows a number of streets blocked off (see below image).
