WAYNE, NJ — Wayne Township Public Schools officials are hiring for various teacher positions and other roles within the K-12 district for next school year.

These open positions include several special education teachers, and teachers for French, technology/robotics, and health/physical education at the high school level.

The township school board still meets during the summer months, and will consider staff resignations, transfers, and new appointments at their upcoming July 11 meeting.

A total of 14 teacher, counselor, and substitute jobs were cut from of the district budget in the 2024-2025 year; school officials said that some were abolished after employees retired, or because the district lost pandemic-related funding.
