Police recommend that children undergo a physical before starting the academy, to ensure they can participate in activities. Academy recruits must also follow a code of conduct, and be on time each day.

The first 80 applications received will determine who is accepted, with a wait list for people who register afterwards.

"As police officers, we thoroughly enjoy participating in this program each year and look forward to working with your children."
