$160K In New Aquatic Playground Equipment Coming To Westfield's Memorial Pool

WESTFIELD, NJ — More than $160,000 in aquatic playground equipment will be coming to Memorial Pool in Westfield.

The Town Council unanimously approved a resolution for the purchase in the amount of $160,907.50 to MRC Recreation, representing Water Odyssey by Fountain People, at the May 28 meeting.

The cost will cover the new equipment, installation, and service. Specifically, the equipment will update spray features in the kids' pool.

An installation date has not been announced yet, "but the Town will notify pool members prior to the installation if any disruption is anticipated," said Westfield Public Information Officer Kim Ford.

The Westfield Memorial Pool and Aquatic Complex is a public swim facility open to both Westfield and non-Westfield residents. The Pool Complex offers:
