Firefighters Battle Truck Fire On Garden State Parkway In Clark

The fire was reported on the northbound side in Clark.

CLARK, NJ — A pick-up truck engulfed in flames was reported on the Garden State Parkway north on Wednesday.

On July 10 at 1:17 p.m., New Jersey State Police(NJSP) Troopers and Clark Volunteer Fire Department were called to a vehicle fire on the Garden State Parkway north at milepost 134.9 in Clark Township.

Police and firefighters found a Ford pickup truck was fully engulfed, said NJSP Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.

Firefighters pulled the front bumper trash lines off. Both Engine 1 & 4 extinguished the flame, according to the Clark Fire Department.

There were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and there is no additional information available at this time, said Lebron.
