Bergen County Launches Mobile COVID-19 Vaccination Effort

Testing will also be available at these mobile sites, operated by the county and Bergen New Bridge. Here's where they'll be, and when.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Haven't gotten vaccinated yet? Bergen County and Bergen New Bridge Medical Center officials have launched a new effort that will likely make it easier.

The county and New Bridge will host five regional, mobile COVID-19 testing and vaccination locations during the month of May, and announced the times and locations for these sites Thursday evening.

"This effort continues our shared mission of bringing equitable vaccine access to communities across Bergen County," county officials said.

Here are the five dates and locations:

Tuesday, May 11

  • Overpeck County Park, 199 challenger Rd., Ridgefield Park, NJ
  • Testing: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Vaccinations: 1 to 4 p.m.

Thursday, May 13

  • Riverside County Park South, 516 River Rd., North Arlington, NJ
  • Testing: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Vaccinations: 1 to 4 p.m.

Monday, May 17

  • Garfield Senior Center, 480 Midland Ave., Garfield, NJ
  • Testing: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Vaccinations: 1 to 5 p.m.

Wednesday, May 19

  • Ascension Greek Orthodox Church, 101 Anderson Ave., Fairview, NJ
  • No testing available
  • Vaccinations: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tuesday, May 25

  • Pascack Brook County Park, 150 Emerson Rd., Westwood, NJ
  • No testing available
  • Vaccinations: 1 to 4 p.m.

Testing and vaccinations are available to anyone who lives, works, or goes to school in Bergen County at no out-of-pocket cost, regardless of health insurance status.

These sites will be administering the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine, according to county officials. Vaccines are available at these sites to those 18 and older.

County officials say to bring:

  • Proof of Bergen County residency, employment, or school ID
  • Insurance Card (if applicable)
