Eilen R. Cameron, 67, Of Hillsdale

Cameron loved to bake, held a third-degree black belt and lived by the golden rule.

HILLSDALE, N.J. — Ellen R. Cameron, 67, of Hillsdale died Wednesday.

She was an active member of Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River.

She was a third-degree black belt in the style of Heiho Shin Do at Faustini's Institute of Martial Arts and Fitness.

She will be remembered for her wit, caring soul and for the way she lived, by the Golden Rule, her family said. Her life's fulfillment came from raising her beloved daughter and best friend AnnMarie.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Ellen, brothers Kevin and Brendan and sister Belinda Stern.

She is survived by her daughters AnnMarie and Meagan, brothers J.Stuart, Gregory and Brian; sister Ursula Scott and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave., Ramsey.

A funeral Mass is Friday at 11 a.m. at Church of the Presentation, Upper Saddle River.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation, Caroline Vandermark Fund 360 Essex St., Suite 301 Hackensack, N.J. 07601.
