Famous Washington Township Author Carol Higgins Clark Chosen For N.J. Hall Of Fame

Clark writes the popular Regan Reilly series and has acted in plays and television movies.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. β€” Carol Higgins Clark, a famous Washington Township author, has been selected for induction into the New Jersey Hall of Fame.

Clark is the daughter of famous mystery author Mary Higgins Clark. The younger Clark has authored the popular Regan Reilly series since its debut in 1992. She has also co-written a holiday-themed suspense series with her mother.

"Induction into the New Jersey Hall of Fame is the highest civilian honor that our state can bestow on someone,” said John Keegan, chairman emeritus of the NJHOF Foundation Board. β€œIt’s a celebration of New Jersey and its greatest achievers, and a recognition of role models for our next generation."

Another Bergen County resident, Arthur Imperatore Sr., founder of NY Waterway, will also be inducted at the May 7 ceremony. NY Waterway provides exclusive ferry service from Weehawken and Manhattan.

Other noted inductees this year include: Talk show host Kelly Ripa, actor Ray Liotta and World Cup-winning soccer player Carli Lloyd.
