Landmark Theatres Opening First NJ Location In Bergen County

A movie theatre chain, marketed as a sophisticated setting for filmgoers, is opening its first New Jersey location in Bergen County.

CLOSTER, NJ — Marketed as a sophisticated setting for filmgoers, Landmark Theatres, a movie theatre chain in the U.S., is opening its first location in New Jersey in Closter on Tuesday.

Landmark is debuting its brand in the Garden State in Closter Plaza at the former CMX Cinemas space at 130 Vervalen Street, the chain said on its website.

Upgrades to the five-screen theatre will include new reclining seats and expanded concession stand offerings, such as caramel popcorn, vegan cookies and gourmet chocolate bars.
