League Of Women Voters Invites Bergen Residents To Meet & Greet

The League of Women Voters of Northern Valley, representing eastern Bergen County, invites the public to a virtual meet-and-greet March 24.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ —The League of Women Voters of Northern Valley, representing eastern Bergen County, invites the public to a virtual meet-and-greet to learn more about the League on March 24.

Membership is open to men and women at least 16 years of age who support the League's mission of educating the public and encouraging citizens to participate in the political process.

The state League is hosting the virtual meet and greet on Thursday, March 24 from 7-8 p.m, according to a news release. Participants may join the virtual Meet & Greet at the following link: bit.ly/northernvalleymeetandgreet.

The LWVNV draws members from these 29 municipalities in Bergen County: Alpine, Bergenfield, Cliffside Park, Closter, Cresskill, Demarest, Dumont, Edgewater, Emerson, Englewood, Englewood Cliffs, Fort Lee, Hackensack, Harrington Park, Haworth, Hillsdale, Leonia, Montvale, New Milford, Northvale, Norwood, Old Tappan, Park Ridge, River Vale, Rockleigh, Tenafly, Washington Township, Westwood, and Woodcliff Lake.

The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization "that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of public policy issues and influences public policy through education and advocacy."
