WESTWOOD, NJ — Westwood Mayor Ray Arroyo posted a Tropical Storm Ida update to his Facebook page this morning, stating that several flood prone areas of Westwood were impacted badly overnight as the Pasack Brook rose rapidly.

The Hillsdale Office of Emergency Management sent an alert around 10:30 p.m. last night, announcing that the brook was at level 3.5, which is considered flood stage 1.

Arroyo wrote that residents were evacuated, and the office is currently assessing all areas of Westwood that have been flooded. He said if people need immediate assistance to call 911.
