New Brunch Spot Now Open In Montvale

First Watch, a Florida-based chain, recently opened its first Bergen County location at The Shoppes at DePiero Farm.

MONTVALE, NJ – A new place to get your breakfast, brunch and lunch fix has arrived in Montvale.

First Watch, a Florida-based chain, recently opened its first Bergen County location at The Shoppes at DePiero Farm.

The daytime restaurant is known for its traditional menu items, like omelets, pancakes, salads and sandwiches, as well as its revolving seasonal offerings, which range from cornbread carnitas to lemon blueberry quinoa pancakes to braised short rib benedict.

This season’s menu features Brilliant Beet Toast, Vanilla Chai Latte Pancakes and a Baja Chicken Burrito Bowl, in addition to seasonal juices, pressed daily from only the highest quality fruits and vegetables.

First Watch also serves its socially responsible and award-winning Project Sunrise coffee, which supports an independent group of female farmers in Huila, Colombia.

The restaurant is located at 38 Farm View and is open daily from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

First Watch is part of the first development phase of North Market, a mixed-use district on the former site of DePiero Farm. Hugh Scullin and Amy Staats of Katz & Associates represented First Watch to secure the 3,699-square-foot restaurant.

The firm has completed deals for nine First Watch locations, including four in New Jersey and five in the Philadelphia area.

Within New Jersey there are also First Watch restaurants in Union, Cherry Hill and Morris Plains.

First Watch has more than 365 restaurants in 29 states, including locations in Union, Cherry Hill and Morris Plains.

The chain has earned more than 300 local "Best Breakfast" and "Best Brunch" accolades and was named Nation's Restaurant News' top consumer pick in the categories for breakfast and coffee. It was also recognized one of TripAdvisor’s Best Restaurant Chains for 2019 and one of Business Intelligence Group’s Best Places to Work in 2018.
