No Surprises In Uncontested Hillsdale Council Race

Votes are being counted in races locally and statewide. Patch has the latest information here.

HILLSDALE, NJ — There were no surprises in the uncontested Hillsdale council race, where two candidates ran for two open seats.

Abby Lundy and John Escobar will now fill those seats after they received 1,923 votes and 1,924 votes, respectively, in early voting and election day returns.

Lundy received 223 mail-in votes, while Escobar received 221.

These vote totals are still unofficial, and will remain so until certified by the Bergen County Clerk.
