Bank Robbery Attempted By Masked Man In West Babylon: Police

A masked man robbed a bank in West Babylon Friday afternoon, Suffolk County police say.

WEST BABYLON, NY — A masked man robbed a bank in West Babylon Friday afternoon, Suffolk County police said.

According to police, a masked man robbed Chase Bank at 595 Sunrise Highway in West Babylon on Friday afternoon.

The man entered the bank and gave the teller a note demanding cash, police said. He did not receive the money and fled the scene on foot at around 3:55 p.m., police said.
