BABYLON, NY — Babylon Village's Old Fashioned Christmas Night of Shopping is Friday, with opportunities to have fun and get some holiday tasks done as Deer Park Avenue is transformed into a winter wonderland.

The event was moved after rain washed out Dec. 1.

Ride the Christmas Carousel. Rent skates at the huge rink and whirl around the ice. Visit with Santa and Disney princesses. Enjoy holiday treats and entertainment courtesy of the local merchants.

Deer Park Avenue will be closed to street traffic. Around the village, there's free 2-hour parking at all red-covered meters — and that lasts through the holiday season.

To top it off, there'll be music ... and your favorite holiday classics playing on two big screen TVs!
