HAUPPAUGE, NY – The Bronx-based E&M Logistics plans to convert an office property into a cold storage facility.

After closing last week on its $5.3 million acquisition of the 20,600-square-foot building on two acres at 380 Oser Ave., the distribution company plans to build a 48,000-square-foot facility to store ice creams and frozen foods, according to Long Island Business News.

E&M Logistics sold a 10,291-square-foot industrial building, at 200 Crossways Park Drive West in Woodbury, for $11 million to the Manhattan-based real estate firm Rockefeller Group, Long Island Business News reported in January.
