Adrienne LoPresti Ensures Community Is 'Supported In Times Of Need'

LEVITTOWN, NY — Without community leaders, Levittown wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to recognize these often unsung community leaders and celebrate their contributions. This submission comes from Larry Kravitz, a Levittown reader who nominated Adrienne LoPresti.

How do you know this community leader? I am a board member of YES

What does this community leader do? Adrienne is the executive director of YES Community Counseling Center. This organization is often the boots on the ground when disasters occur, such as the Farmingdale bus accident.

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored? Adrienne and her team work tirelessly to ensure the community is supported in times of need. They do this with little recognition and she deserves to be recognized.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero? Adrienne has an open-door policy. When a person comes into the YES community counseling center they are never turned away.
