Reports say two cars collided head-on near the entrance ramp of the Southern State Parkway Sunday night.

LEVITTOWN, NY — A crash in Levittown late Sunday night left two people seriously injured.

According to police, the accident occurred Sunday night on Wantagh Avenue, between Old Jerusalem Road and entrance for the Southern State Parkway. Two cars collided-head on. Reports say two people were in serious but stable condition following the crash.

The road in the area was closed for about an hour. Police have not released the names of anyone involved, and have not said what caused the crash.
