Levittown Artist Participates In Pilot Selling Program At Michaels

LEVITTOWN, NY — A local artist got the chance to show off her wares at the Michaels in Levittown.

Farnaz Menhaji, of Levittown, who started working with her hands as a professional baker, expanded her projects with an online shop during the pandemic.

She created Elegant Art by Farnaz, where she sells items such as t-shirts, candles and wax melts.

Farnaz is now selling these crafts on MakerPlace by Michaels, a new marketplace dedicated to local handmade artists.

She took part in the pilot program at the Michaels Levittown location on May 18.
