Man Seriously Injured After Being Hit By Car In Nassau
Police say the man was crossing Hempstead Turnpike in the early morning when he was hit.
BETHPAGE, NY — A man was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Bethpage early this morning.
According to police, a 57-year-old man was crossing Hempstead Turnpike, near the intersection of Stewart Avenue, at 4:26 a.m. when he was struck by a 2009 Nissan being driven by a 73-year-old man.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
