Friends & Neighbors Come Together to Lend a Helping Hand During the Holiday Season

On November 19th, the Lindenhurst community came together to share a special day of giving, decorating, and meeting friends, new and old.
In its 5th year, this annual food drive generates revenue that will be distributed to families who can use a helping hand.
The list of participants is long, and people clamor to be a part of this fantastic opportunity to show goodwill with dignity and genuine caring. Planning starts in early summer, and the culmination of collaborations never disappoints. Brought to you by "The Committee Who Likes to Do Nice Things," no organization takes responsibility for the momentous success of this campaign; instead, a culmination of organizations, businesses, friends, family, and government officials sends the holiday message that we truly love where we live!

Happy Holidays!
