McSweeney and Gregory Win Reelection For Babylon Town Council

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Town of Babylon residents took to the polls on Tuesday to pick two out of three candidates for council seats.

With no districts left to be counted, according to unofficial Suffolk County Board of Elections results, the winners were incumbents Terrence McSweeney with 19,094 votes, or 39.68 percent, and DuWayne Gregory with 17,332 votes, or 36.02 percent.

Republican challenger Jarod Morris obtained 11,538, or 23.98 percent.
