MEDFORD, NY — A crash on the westbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway slowed traffic Wednesday morning near Medford.

First responders were at the wreck around 8:15 a.m. Tuesday. The left lane and shoulder was closed between Exit 65 for Horseblock Road and Exit 64 for state Route 112, according to the state Department of Transportation.
