Man Used Counterfeit Money At Medford Lowe's: Police

MEDFORD, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the man who, police said, used counterfeit currency in Medford in January.

He used counterfeit $10 bills to buy $150 worth of plumbing equipment from Lowe's, at 2796 Route 112, at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 10, police said. The man is wanted for criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
