See Police Rescue Dog Who Got Head Stuck in Cat House

Golden Retriever unharmed following incident in Medford Friday morning.

Buddy the dog has three new buddies.

Three Suffolk cops came to the rescue after Buddy got his head wedged in a cat house in Medford Friday morning, police said.

Fifth Precinct officers Stephen Lukas and Martin Gill along with Sgt. Kit Gabrielsen responded to the backyard of a home on Holland Avenue at 11:10 a.m. after a woman reported that her Golden Retriever was stuck in the cat house.

The officers used crowbars and a hammer to dismantle the cat house and free Buddy, who was unharmed and returned to his relieved owner.
