Port Jefferson Station Chick-fil-A Opening in October

Welcome to Long Island, Chick-fil-A.

Long Island’s first Chick-fil-A is finally ready to open its doors.

The fast food joint will open in Port Jefferson Station on October 7, according to the company’s website.

The restaurant is located at 5184 Nesconset Highway at the site of a former car dealership just west of Jayne Boulevard.

The restaurant will open on a Wednesday, but if you want to take part in Chick-fil-A ’s “First 100” promo in which customers can win a free Chick-fil-A meal every week for a year, you will need to get there a day earlier and be prepared to camp out for 24 hours. Chick-fil-A also has plans to open Long Island locations in Commack, Hicksville and Westbury. Opening dates for those restaurants have not yet been announced.
