Raiders Football Keep Lead Over Brentwood

Patchogue-Medford wins Friday's football match, 51-27.

Patchogue-Medford Raiders varsity football took an early lead over Brentwood Friday and came out on top, 51-27.

According to Newsday senior Anthony Lee scored three touchdowns and 301 passing yards over the course of the game, which are his career highs thus far.

Raiders got a 20-0 lead with 5:02 left in the quarter from Rob Kohler recovering a fumble in the end zone after Adam Mims took the ball from the quarterback. Before halftime, the Raiders had a 30-7 lead from Kevin Morrissey’s 53-yard touchdown catch from Lee.

Morrissey also caught a 52-yard touchdown pass from Lee in the first play of the second half. Also mentioned in the report are Connor Coughlin catching six passes for 151 yards and two touchdowns for the Raiders, Sean Christie getting nine tackles and Tyler Conlon with eight tackles.
