COVID-19 Vaccine Information

• 1,193,285 people have received at least one vaccine dose, an increase of 893.
• 1,070,574 people is fully vaccinated, an increase of 1,088.
• 80.6% of the total population of 1,481,093 has received at least one dose.
• 93.0% of the population ages 18 and older has received at least one dose.
• 72.2% percent of the total population is fully vaccinated.
• 84.6% of the population ages 18 and older is fully vaccinated.
• 77.1% of the population ages 5 and older is fully vaccinated.
• 40.7% of fully vaccinated population have had a booster dose.

• Vaccination rates by zip code.
• Walk-in vaccination clinics are offering COVID vaccines to Suffolk County residents who are age 5 and older as well as booster doses to all who are eligible. Appointments are recommended. Medical practitioners and EMS are on-site at all times to answer questions and tend to concerns. Click here for locations and times and parental consent forms. • 6,846,109 total tests have been administered since March 2020.
• 1,171 new cases were reported.
• 79.1 cases per 100k; 80.7 on a 7-day average.
• 413,080 total cases have been reported since March 2020.
• 8.3% tested positive in Suffolk County; 10.6% positive on a 7-day average.
• 8.0% tested positive on Long Island; 10.0% positive on a 7-day average.

Fatalities, Suffolk County, January 26, 2022

• 8 fatalities:
• 4,166 fatalities since March 2020

Hospitalization, Suffolk County, January 26, 2022

• 647 individuals were hospitalized, a decrease of 40 in 24 hours.
• 76 were new admissions.
• 98 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), an increase of 2 in 24 hours.
• 62 patients were in the ICU and intubated.
• 118 were discharged since the last report.
• 21,885 have been discharged since March 22, 2020.

Hospital Capacity, Suffolk County

• 3,101 hospital beds, 726 available, 25%
• 408 ICU beds, 94 available, 23%
