1. Police say a 94-year-old woman drowned Thursday at a relative's home in Mount Sinai. They are investigating the death of Kihee Kim in the backyard pool of a home on Kingston Road. (Patch)
2. The Suffolk police officer who shot and killed an East Northport man in 2020 will not face charges, New York State Attorney General Letitia James announced this week. The officer "reasonably believed" that Jeffrey McClure, 26, was holding a rifle instead of an unloaded pellet gun when he threatened to shoot officers. (Subscription: Newsday)
3. Five men were arrested for assault and rioting after a disturbance Tuesday night at Vauxhall, at 26 Clinton Ave. in Huntington. The men assaulted an employee of the gastropub. (Subscription: Newsday)
