  1. A bicyclist was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital after he struck a vehicle in Shirley on Monday. The man's name has not been released. The collision happened on the sidewalk of Montauk Highway, between William Floyd Parkway and Camp Upton Road. (Patch)
  2. Police have released footage of a hate crime at a Ronkonkoma mosque, hoping the public can help identify the person or people responsible. A lit device was placed at Masjid Fatima Al-Zahra Mosque on Lake Shore Road on July 4 around midnight. (News 12)
  3. Barnes & Noble is planning a new store in a 10,862-square-foot building on Route 58 in Riverhead. The space formerly housed a Pier 1 Imports store in the Riverhead Centre shopping center. (RiverheadLOCAL)
