3 Men Knocked Unconscious After Robber Stole Luxury Watches: NYPD

One victim was knocked unconscious and his Rolex watch was stolen, police said.

NEW YORK CITY — A unknown man is wanted for a string of robberies in Manhattan — in three incidents he has choked his victims unconscious before taking their valuables, police said.

The first incident happened on June 15 at around 3:30 a.m. at 147 Christopher Street, police said.

A 29-year-old man was approached by the suspect from behind and put into a chokehold. The victim was knocked unconscious and his watch was stolen, police said.

The suspect fled the scene, police said.

The second incident took place on July 14 at 2:40 a.m. in front of 42 Morton Street, police said.

A 27-year-old man was approached from behind and put into a chokehold by the suspect, police said.

The victim was knocked unconscious and his Rolex watch was stolen, police said. The victim sustained minor injuries but was not transported to the hospital.

The last incident took place on Aug 9. at the 14th Street train station, police said.

The suspect fled the location on foot, going southbound on Seventh Avenue, police said.

The victim was transported to New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital in stable condition.
