Baby Left Abandoned In Front Of NYC Building: NYPD

The newborn baby still had his umbilical cord attached to it and was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.

NEW YORK CITY — A baby boy was left in front of a Manhattan building during the early morning hours Thursday, police said.

At around 3:20 a.m., in front of 515 West 23rd St. in Chelsea, a doorman found the baby on the sidewalk outside the building, police said.

The newborn baby still had his umbilical cord attached to it and was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.
