Crew Has Pulled Off 40 Burglaries Across NYC, 4 Suspects Wanted: NYPD

The crew's most recent robbery on June 24 saw the four suspects break into a Queens laundromat, stealing $1,800 in cash.

NEW YORK CITY — A group of thieves has been responsible for as many as 40 burglaries throughout New York City.

The four-man crew has been mostly targeted laundromats and other businesses in Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx, police said.

The robbery spree began back in March, with the most recent incident believed to have taken place in June, police said.

In most incidents, the suspects have broken into businesses, stealing coin machines, merchandise and cash from registers, police said. They tend to strike during the overnight hours.

Twenty-eight incidents have taken place in Queens, 3 incidents took place in Brooklyn and 9 businesses in the Bronx were robbed, police said.

The suspects in all their robberies fled the scene in vehicles with stolen plates, police said.

The NYPD released new surveillance images of the suspects and images of a possible getaway car.
