NEW YORK CITY — An off-duty New York City crossing guard was arrested in Manhattan Monday evening, police said.

Nadine Williams, 54, was taken into custody around 5:47 p.m in the confines of the 32nd Precinct, which covers sections of Harlem.

Williams was charged with acting in a manner injurious to a child, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
