Rajkumar said as comptroller, she will use her experience to make sure the city "is affordable for everyone."

On her campaign website, Rajkumar mentions she has passed nationally recognized legislation securing full human rights protections for domestic workers, making Diwali a school holiday in New York after a 30-year fight, and allowing for the closure of over 36,000 illegal smoke shops across the State through the passage of her originally authored SMOKEOUT Act.

An ally to Mayor Adams, Rajkumar can be seen at numerous press conferences involving the mayor throughout the city.
