36th Annual Grande Festa Italiana

Summer isn't over until you've enjoyed the food, rides and games at the Grande Festa Italiana at North Hempstead Beach Park.

Celebrating its 36th anniversary, the largest and oldest feast on Long Island will be held from Wednesday, September 9 - Sunday, September 13.

As always, the famous Sons of Italy John M. Marino Lodge food tent offers amazing homemade pasta dishes, heroes and barbecue fare. Be sure to also visit the Marino Lodge’s other two food tents for Italian pastries and coffee and some fresh seafood.

The food court also offers a wide variety of traditional carnival fare and delicious ethnic cuisine. Don’t miss the great rides and games for all ages, live entertainment Thursday through Sunday and a casino. Also, be sure to visit some of the dozens of vendors with jewelry, crafts, gifts and more!

As with all their other events, the Sons of Italy in America’s John M. Marino Lodge #1389 in Port Washington, sponsor of the Grande Festa Italiana, donates a percentage of proceeds to support a variety of local and regional charities and scholarships. So come and enjoy the festivities and help support charities at the same time. Buon appetito!
