Butterflies, Dragonflies and Honeybees at Sands Point Preserve

Join us Saturday for an ongoing family-friendly series about science and nature.

Learn all about the insects with wings that make their home at the Sands Point Preserve! There are many exciting stories to tell that include metamorphosis, molting, mating, and making honey. Weather permitting, we’ll spend some of the session in the outdoors to inspect their habitats and possibly see some of these insects in various stages of development! There are two sessions: 11-11:45 or 12-12:45.

Admission is $15 per car / $5 per car with Annual Pass.

Preregistration is required Please email your name, preferred session start time, and the number of adults and children (with their ages) to [email protected].
