NEW HYDE PARK, NY — When Herricks High School students performed the spring musical, they officially unveiled the newly renovated auditorium.

It's a full overhaul of the space with upgrades that include the installation of new seating and expanding the stage.

New flooring was put down and custom light fixtures were added.

The March 23 performance of "The Putnam County 25th Annual Spelling Bee" debuted improvements for the auditorium, where the ceiling was painted.
