Navigate Sands Point Preserve in June

Families can learn all about the great outdoors at the Guggenheim Estate.

Navigate the great outdoors at the Preserve on Sunday, June 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.. We’ll provide instructions for hand-held compasses. We’ll have some compasses to loan out, or use your smartphone. We’ll also provide course directions, and your compass will allow you to navigate the course – North, South, East, and West. Your challenge will also include gathering information to solve a course question. Ages 6 and up.

Admission to the program is $15 per car or $5 per car with Annual Pass. Preregistration is required. Please email your name, preferred session start time for each program, and the number of adults and children (with their ages) to [email protected].

Friends of the Sands Point Preserve is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to protect and preserve the 216-acre waterfront grounds and historic mansions and to provide a range of cultural arts events and educational programs for families and schools in the Phil Dejana Learning Center and Outdoor Classroom.
