Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?
Mrs. Butler is the most caring teacher we have ever met. She teaches English, she creates an environment that is welcoming and fun. She truly cares about her students and always goes the extra mile to help them learn. She also attends student events, such as sports, and supports them when they need it the most. Mrs. Butler is the kind of teacher you can tell anything to and she will support and try to help you. She always stays positive and if you’re not, after five minutes with her, you will be too!

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?
Although she has her own struggles, she always has time for you. She is selfless and an amazing person and teacher. Our lives are so much better just having to know her. I would like to thank her for all she has done for our kids at Glen Cove High School.
