Brand New Chipotle Rolling Into Town As Construction Wraps Up

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Good news for fans of burritos that require both hands to eat.

A new Chipotle Mexican Grill will open in New Rochelle on April 6, company spokesperson Sally Evans told Patch on Monday. The first 50 customers on opening day will get free swag. So, circle the date on your calendars and plan to skip breakfast.

The newest outlet will be located at 77 Quaker Ridge Road and the store will be open every day of the week from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m., according to Evans.

This latest Chipotle in New Rochelle joins a handful of other locations in the Hudson Valley. The latest addition in New Rochelle is part of an ambitious growth strategy from the California-based fast-casual restaurant chain.

Chipotle plans to open between 235 to 250 new restaurants over the next year. In 2021, the company opened 215 new locations in North America and Europe.

The company celebrated its 3000th restaurant in Phoenix, AZ last month by virtually ringing The Opening Bell at the New York Stock Exchange.

"This achievement is a testament to our phenomenal teams and their relentless pursuit of bringing Food with Integrity to more communities," CEO Brian Niccol at the time. "We are thrilled to celebrate our 3000th restaurant opening, and the progress we've made towards our goal of having 7,000 restaurants or more in North America."
