New Foodie Card Discount Through The Chamber of Commerce

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — If you're lucky enough not to be tightening your belt right now, the Foodie Card could still be a great way to support a worthwhile civic organization and lend a hand to those facing food security issues. Plus, who doesn't like to save a little money?

The New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce has joined forces with Foodie Card for a new way to enjoy dining out, support local businesses and help the food insecure, all while saving money.

According to the chamber, the Foodie Card is a socially responsible, economically fiscal way to let members save money, support local restaurants and donate meals to Feeding Westchester. Through the unique collaboration, the card will be offered at a discounted $19.99 (normally $29.99) until September 30.

The socially conscious dining subscription service popular in New York City, expanded to Westchester County last year. The group, founded in 2018, announced its launch in Westchester County on November 1. Foodie Card has already established a strong presence on Long Island, inspired by earlier expansions into Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, South Florida and parts of New Jersey.

And the Foodie Card doesn't have to stay in your pocketbook waiting for a night on the town. The card works for pickup and delivery at some restaurants across the region as well.

• 10 percent off at 220+ local restaurants; 1,800+ in the tri-state area
