Visitation: Thursday, October 8 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. 9 p.m. at the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home on 51400 Main Road in Southold.

Services: Friday, October 9 at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church on 5310 Main Road in Southold. Interment will be private.

Obituary: Richard S. Spooner, former Mayor of the Village of Southampton died at Peconic Landing in Greenport on Monday, Oct. 5. He was 93.
