Coachlight Square on the Hudson is a condominium community sitting on approximately 18 acres overlooking Lake Meahagh in Westchester County. The community consists of 210 units in 20 buildings, a clubhouse, pool, basketball court, playground, lakeside sitting area and sewer treatment plant, operated by Coachlight Square.

A nine-member Board of Managers oversees the management of the community.

Coachlight Square is looking for an experienced resident superintendent to oversee the daily maintenance operations of the community. The successful candidate must have proven management, organization and communication skills.

The resident superintendent will carry out the policies and objectives established by the Board of Managers including, but not limited to, the following:

Administrative

  • Plan work, assign and supervise all maintenance staff,
  • Supervise the purchase of equipment and materials,
  • Recommend necessary work and programs to the Board,
  • Attend meetings with the Board as necessary,
  • Keep record of all work completed and prepare unit invoices,
  • Plan projects in conjunction with the Board,
  • Recommend and supervise contractors and approve all completed work,
  • Work with unit owners in planning repairs to units, and
  • Work with local, municipal officials on issues affecting CLS.

Maintenance

  • Address/resolve emergency issues including, but not limited to, electrical, heating, water and sewer systems as needed 24/7,
  • Repair and perform preventative maintenance on boiler/heating systems,
  • Operate/maintain the sewer treatment plant in conjunction with the sewer treatment plant operator,
  • Perform/supervise building and unit repairs as necessary,
  • Perform/supervise snow removal on roads, parking lots and sidewalks,
  • Prepare/maintain the pool during pool season and close the pool at season end, and
  • In the absence of the maintenance mechanics, perform portions of their job as needed for the operation of the complex.
