Winning Powerball Ticket Sold At Westchester Card Shop

A lucky winner in the Hudson Valley will be taking home a prize worth $50K from the recent lottery drawing.

PELHAM, NY — There was no top-prize winner, but someone in Pelham is $50,000 richer and might not even know it yet.

The New York Lottery announced a third-prize winning ticket was sold for the October 24, Powerball drawing. The ticket sold is worth $50,000.

The ticket was sold at the Manor Card Shoppe, located at 4781 Boston Post Road in Pelham. The winning ticket had four matching numbers and the Powerball.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 18-23-35-45-54 with a Powerball of 16. The winner has one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field one to of 26.

The jackpot for the drawing to be held on Wednesday is an estimated $700 million.

The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m. For an extra $1, players can add Powerplay, which multiplies a prize – not including the jackpot – by up to 10x.
