May 6th is the date of the picnic at Senasqua Park in Croton-on-Hudson to celebrate spring the Nordic way. Freja (pronounced long a for e, and y for j) is a Swedish Lodge that meets at Emanuel Lutheran church monthly. Celebrate that drop of Nordic blood in your ancestry (even if you don't have one) with a fun potluck picnic. Activities include the game of Kubb, sometimes referred to as a Viking pastime.
