East End St. Patrick's Day 2015 Parade Guide

Check out where to find St. Patrick's Day parades across the East End.

This year’s St. Patrick’s Day falls on Tuesday, March 17.

The holiday is meant to honor Saint Patrick, the patron saint and national apostle of Ireland. St Patrick is credited with bringing christianity to Ireland, according to st-patricks-day.com.

March 17th is the date of the National holiday, which has become associated with everything Irish: anything green and gold, shamrocks and luck, due to the theory it is the day that St. Patrick died.
