SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — As summer comes to an end, Long Islanders will soon be enjoying the simple pleasures of fall.

Suffolk County offers numerous autumn activities, but none greater — and a more beautiful thing— than a family-fun corn maze.

Here are three corn mazes to check out in Suffolk County this fall:

Harbes Family Farm & Vineyard

An annual tradition, the Harbes Family Farm & Vineyard will host three corn mazes in 2022:

Wizard of Oz Maze

At The "Wizard of Oz Maze", located at 715 Sound Ave. in Mattituck, participants can help Dorothy and Toto find their way home by following the yellow corn road.

"You just might meet some old friends like the Tin Woodsman, the Cowardly Lion, and the Scarecrow. Adjacent to our u-pick pumpkin field."

The maze will re-open on Sept. 17.

Robin Hood Corn Maze

Then, in the "Robin Hood Corn Maze", located at 1223 Main Road in Jamesport and 5698 Sound Ave in Riverhead, you can experience a Robin Hood trivia as you navigate your way.

Stakey's Corn Maze

270 West Lane, Aquebogue, NY

If you're up for a challenge, look no further than Stakey's Corn Maze, located in Aquebogue. The three-acre maze is an "exciting adventure", as you try to find your way though their large puzzle.

F&W Schmitt’s Family Farm

26 Pinelawn Rd, Melville, NY

When it comes to fall, F&W Schmitt’s Family Farm takes its corn mazes to another world. This year's daytime corn maze theme "Alice In Wonderland”. For the ultimate challenge, enjoy hours of family fun in this 8-acre corn maze.

This maze will open on Oct. 1., and will be available on weekends, Columbus Day and holidays.

Be sure to also check out their Annual Fall Festival, from Sept. 17 to Oct. 30, which features hayrides, a fall playground, mini golf, photo opps, and more.
